Blossom Valley Whole Home Remodel and Addition

From cramped and disconnected, May Construction collaborated with talented architect Jennifer Kretschmer to transform this Blossom Valley home into a jaw-dropping contemporary space.

To reinvent the aesthetics, structure, and utility of the entire home, the team embarked on re- designing the existing footprint and adding square footage to the front of the house. New large windows and skylights welcome in lots of light and highlight the dramatic vaulted ceiling and stark white walls that sit proudly in the new family room and flows seamlessly into the kitchen and dinning space.

Sophisticated white oak cabinets are an attractive contrast to this kitchen's bold navy floor to ceiling dining room cabinetry, floating shelves and built-in dry bar. The natural tones in the white oak bring in a subtle warmth and surround the custom built, storage rich, oversized island. Glamorously Drenched in carrerera quartz, features double waterfall edges, ample seating, and plenty of countertop space for family dinners and gatherings. Shiny brass fixtures, sleek white full quartz backsplash, and basketweave tile at the cooktop give this kitchen a vibrant fresh feel.

The hall bathroom before re-design didn't come close to making the cut. Every inch of space in this bathroom would be cleverly reconfigured for this San Jose remodel. Now Brimming in style, this modern bathroom showcases a unique wood vanity topped with trendy double vessel sinks, sleek stainless steel faucets and a crisp white quartz countertop. A patterned tile backsplash and new-aged lit mirror create an eye-catching feature wall and brings ample light into the airy space.

From vision to execution, May Construction implemented our design-build process and revealed the astonishing potential locked in this San Jose kitchen remodel. Such construction transformations demand thoughtful design and a creative approach, see what’s possible for your space.
